Q: Why does the Leadership Evolution Lab exist?

We are living in a time marked by planetary crisis, accelerating technological change, and growing systemic uncertainty. Research and lived experience increasingly show that conventional leadership capacities — focused on expertise, performance, and control — are no longer sufficient.

The Leadership Evolution Lab is a transformative online learning space created to support experienced leaders who sense that edge and who are ready to upshift their leadership capacity in response to the world as it is becoming. Live experiences and assessments are not part of the free offering, but a tailored service.

The Leadership Evolution Lab is created and curated by Elisabet Lagerstedt — founder & CEO of Future Navigators, experienced leader, senior advisor, executive coach, and PhD researcher in Transformative Business Leadership — as part of her ambition to make this knowledge and content accessible to a wider audience as part of her mission to catalyse the shift toward wise and transformative leadership — co-creating thriving businesses, organisations and futures beyond business as usual.

The Leadership Evolution Lab is also a living research space. Alongside supporting leadership development, the Lab explores an important and still under-researched question:

How can wise and transformative leadership development be meaningfully supported in an online environment — and made more widely accessible?

To explore this, the Lab continuously experiments with and refines different learning modalities, such as:

  • reflective inquiry and sense-making

  • embodied and nervous-system-aware practices

  • narrative and perspective-shifting exercises

  • developmental prompts and integration practices

Some formats will deepen, others will evolve, and some will be retired — as learning accumulates over time.

Insights from participation may contribute to ongoing research in Transformative Business Leadership in fully anonymised, ethical, and transparent ways. No personal data is used for commercial purposes.

Your engagement contributes not only to your own development, but to a growing understanding of how leadership evolution can be supported responsibly and at scale online.

Registration and participation in the Leadership Evolution Lab does not imply any additional engagement in executive coaching, advisory work, or live programs. Some leaders and leadership teams may later choose to explore deeper developmental partnerships guided by us, but this is always optional and initiated separately.
